Linda E. Finley

Linda Evelyn (May) Finley, age 70, of 0’Fallon, Missouri passed away on Sunday, Aug. 15, 2021 with her loving husband John by her side, and having seen her loving sister and family, children, grandchildren, and close friends in the hours and days prior to her passing. She was born to the late Alvin Leo and Leona (Pense) May on Oct. 6, 1950.

Linda married the love of her life John Finley on December 31, 1979.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother Donald (Rosemary) May; sister, Betty May, and multiple other family members and friends.

She is survived by 4 children, Michael (Laurie) Finley, Carrie Rogers, Jason Finley, Kevin Finley; 3 grandchildren, Rebekah, Gabriella, Timothy; 1 sister Eileen (May) Culp; and adored cat Snowy. She will be missed by her cousins, nieces and nephews.

Linda was retired from Fireman’s Fund Insurance where she worked for 22 years until her retirement in 1999. She proudly retired early to spend more time with her children and family.

Linda loved her family, and friends, traveling to visit loved ones. She loved being around people and was known for being friendly to anyone she met.

VISITATION: A visitation for Linda will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL.

SERVICE: A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 19, 2021, at 1:00 P.M. at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
