

She was the manager of the Spring Garden Restaurant for several years. Lisa was a natural born leader, but will be remembered most of all by what she did with the “dash between her dates”.
She was preceded in death by her mother Carol (nee Perkins) Cox; her great-uncle Edward Perkins; her nephew Ray “Dino” Villier; her great-aunt Evelyn “Nanny” Hatfield; grandmother Clara Grace (nee Perkins) Price; grandfather Carroll Floyd Price; grandmother Velma Cox; and grandfather Charles Cox II.
She is survived by her father Charles Cox III; sons Matthew (Nicole) Smith of Collinsville, Illinois and Charles Smith of St. Louis, Missouri; daughter Amy (Matthew) Mordis of Fairmont City, Illinois; grandchildren Talon Grogan, Laney Smith, and Cohen Smith; her special friend Charles “Hobo” Adair of Collinsville (in case you didn’t know), Charlene Best of Collinsville, who has been like a daughter, and seemingly countless friends, family, and loved ones.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
Funeral: Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois. Inurnment will follow after services. Lisa’s final resting place will be less than 100 yards from that of her mother.
Lunch will be served immediately following the services at the VFW in Caseyville, Illinois. Food and time donated by Chef Bob’s Catering.
