

Marcia was called Home to be with her Savior Christ Jesus on October 27, 2021.
She was employed from 1973-1994 as a private secretary with Sar Shalom International Broadcasting Ministries. She was a former Sunday school teacher, active in Collinsville First Assembly of God Church, and a member of SWIC Phi Theta Kappa. She was an active volunteer for Meals on Wheels and the Food Pantry in Collinsville, Illinois. Marcia considered being a Mom and Grandma her greatest blessing in life.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Claude V. Massey, daughter, Deanna K. Massey, parents, Edward Marsh Powell and Constance (nee Becker) Pauli, stepfather, Carl Floyd Pauli, and brother, Floyd R. Pauli.
Surviving are her children, Roger K. Massey of Morrisdale, Pennsylvania; Kevin (Candy) Massey of Troy, Illinois; grandchildren, Rev. Christopher (Jessie) Massey, Ryan (Megan) Massey, Kyle (Kristy) Massey, Clint (Casey) Massey and Cody (Hannah) Massey, great-grandchildren, Tessalyn, Meredith, Roman, Kory, Nora, Owen, Katie, Boone and two more on the way; and siblings, David J. Pauli of Long Beach, California, Jacquelyn (Jim) Pauli-Chaney of South Bend, Indiana, Dana Ann (Dick) Powell-Brown of Kansas City, MO, Marsha (Kim) Powell-Burris of Pleasant Hill, MO.
Memorial donations may be made to VITAS Hospice.
A visitation for Marcia will be held on Monday, November 1, 2021 from 3:00 P.M.-5:00 P.M. at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL.
A funeral service will follow the visitation, at 5:00 P.M. with Marcia’s grandson, Rev. Christopher Massey officiating. Interment will be held at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
