Margaret A. McConkey

At age 40 Margaret began her 30 plus year career as a sales associate for Famous Barr in Fairview Heights, Ill., where for several years she was the top producer for the greater St. Louis area. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, and her family. She had a loving and generous spirit. She will always be remembered by her family.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles L. McConkey; her parents, Loyola L. and Dorothy L., nee Durfee, Horrell; her sister, Lola Wiesen; and her brother, Lloyd Horrell.

Surviving are her children, Charles L. (Rebecca) McConkey of Missouri, Paula M. (Bruce) Holle of Kentucky, and Sally A. McConkey of Illinois; and her grandchildren, Michael S. Broeren, Sarah M. McConkey, Allyson M. Broeren, Natalie A. McConkey, and Gregory T. Broeren.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 8, 2011, at Reiss Chapel at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
