Marian Jean Verbeck

Marian Jean Verbeck, 76, of East Carondelet, passed away Friday, December 16, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born December 11, 1946 in East St. Louis to Clarence and Betty (Patterson) Hart. Marian married Thomas Verbeck July 13, 1989 in Vergennes, Vermont. She retired from Belleville Memorial Hospital after 23 years in the dietary department. Marian had a passion for cooking, was an avid collector of clowns and enjoyed taking care of her family. She will be dearly missed by and who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Verbeck; children, Donnie (Trina) Beshears, Jeff (Gloria) Beshears, David (Nora) Beshears, Joyce DeChiara and Christina Verbeck; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Tina, Teddy (Vicky), Donnie (Patty), Ronnie, Timmy (Mary), Andy (Debbie), Carol, Marie (Pat), Mark, Robin (Billy), Judy, Mike, Matt (Brenda), Patty, Bobby (Char), Stevie (Karen) and James (Alicia). Marian is preceded in death by her parents; son, Bobby Beshears; siblings, Kate (John), Mickey, Dale (Debbie); brother and sister-in-laws; Bob, Elaine, Fay, Anthony and Ray.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 23, 2022 at 1:00pm in Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 N. Illinois St., Fairview Heights, IL 62208 with visitation from 11:00am until time of service. Interment to follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions can be made to BJC hospice.
