Marilyn "Sue" Sharp

Sue was a former member of Faith Baptist Church in Belleville, Illinois and was very active in many years with the church and was always teaching God’s word. She was a blessing to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Maurine, nee Eubanks, Taylor; one brother, Eugene Taylor; one son, Bobby O’Connell; a daughter-in-law, Michelle, nee Mitchell, Sharp; and a great-grandchild.

Surviving are her sons, William “Billy” C. Sharp, of Cahokia, Illinois, Joel W. (Tammie) Sharp, of Marissa, Illinois, and Tony (Brenda) O’Connell of Dexter, Missouri; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Gerald (Joanne) Schillinger; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, April 15, 2016 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois and from 12 to 1 p.m., Saturday, April 16, 2016. Funeral services to follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
