Matthew M. Heiman Sr.

Matthew was a 1972 graduate of Belleville East High School where he was active in track and field and wrestling. He enjoyed softball, pool, wood working, camping, and working on cars. He was always willing to help anyone, easy going, ready smile, true handy-man and go-to source when things needed fixing, loving father and husband. Will be greatly missed by all.

Surviving are his wife, Carolyn, nee Green, Heiman; his two sons: Matthew (Bridgitte) Heimann Jr. of Aviston, Illinois and Michael Heimann of Fairview Heights, Illinois; his parents: Martin and Jacqueline, nee Seliga, Heiman of Fairview Heights, Illinois; two grandchildren: Devin and Cooper; a brother, Mark (Anelisa) Heiman of Washington; four sisters: Cynthia Wetzel of Rolla, Missouri; Kathleen (Ray) Wisdom of Belleville, Illinois; Nancy (Mark) McCoy of Collinsville, Illinois; and Lisa (Dean) Gregson of Flower Mound, Texas, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Friday, August 16, 2013 at Lake View Funeral Home. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
