Maxine was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends more than anything. Maxine also enjoyed going and participating in many parades throughout the years, playing bingo, and line dancing to some great tunes which gave her great joy. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her probably found themselves in a card game of Pinochle witnessing her skills. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Edwin Case; two sons, Jim Case and Charlie Case, both parents, Harlan and Helen, nee Bruschall, Bean; grandchildren, Darrell Pruden, and Jennifer Case; great-grandchild, Trey Rhodes; and her sisters, Mary Strubhardt and Shirley Fields.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her children; Beverly (Charles) Lett, of Vandalia, Illinois, Marie (George) Rhodes, of Vandalia, Illinois, Carol (Terry) Randle, of Fairview Heights, Illinois, Georgia (James) Kulpa, of Chicago, Illinois, Jerry (Linda) Case, of Gilispie, Illinois, Brenda (Eugene) Brackman, of Staunton, Illinois, and Shelia (Joe) Slifka of Staunton, Illinois, daughter-in-law, Sue Case, of Bowling Green, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Ted (Gwen) Caldwell, Terrie Lynn (Jim) Tipler, Jeff (Tara) Randle, Charles (Tammy) Lett, Kim (Jeff) Gentry, Kelly Case, David (Connie) Rhodes, Lisa (Carl) Shreve, Robert Rhodes, Jerrod (Liz) Kulpa, Scott (Jenny) Randle, Amy Case, Jessica (Luke Smith) Brackman, Brittany Brackman, Ashley Slifka, and Andrew Slifka; step-grandchildren, Stacie and Sarah; her great-grandchildren, Amanda, Elizabeth, Todd, Kristin, Justin, Casey, Jessica, Taylor, and Megan; great-great-grandchildren, Danny, Hunter, Paige, Keaton, Kaitlyn, Caleb Kaiden, Jenna and Vanessa; her step-great-great—grandchildren, Justin, Jake, Josh, Nolan, Owen, and Kendall, and her sister, Dorothy Pearson, of St. Peters, Missouri, and many other nieces and nephews, family and friends.
