

Mr. Simpson retired as a fabricator with I.B.E.W Local 1, after 45 years of service. He was Secretary of Camelot Bowl, in Collinsville, Illinois for 25 years. He also tended to the horses at Fairmont Race Track. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, who will truly be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Simpson and Anna Mewes, nee Allen; his siblings, Betty Ann Young, Charles Simpson, Francis Simpson, Marilyn Simpson.
Surviving are his loving wife of 55 years, Betty Simpson, nee McCall, of Fairview Heights, Illinois; his children, Cynthia (Conrad) Stark, Richard Simpson, and Marilyn Simpson; his grandchildren, Jonathan (Alisha) Stark and Christopher (Carrie) Stark; great grandchildren, Travis Stark, Anthony and Sheradin Rakers; his siblings, Alma Penrod, Mary Rogers, Joan Black, April Rogers, and Donald Simpson; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral: Services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, December 2, 2013, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
