

Mr. Orville L. Kammler, 93, of Trilla, Ill., formerly of Belleville, Ill., and Martinsville, Ill., born April 10, 1917 in Hecker, Ill., died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010 at Heartland Christian Village, Neoga, Ill.
Mr. Kammler was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Army. He was retired with more than 35 years of service at the Stag Brewery in Belleville. Orville was a former member of Christ United Church of Christ in Belleville, Ill., and a current member of Martinsville United Methodist Church in Martinsville, Ill. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, trapper, gardener, and was a member of several sportsman's clubs including Round Grove Sportsmen's Club in Martinsville, he also was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Henrietta Kammler, nee Daley; his parents, John and Anna, nee Wagner, Kammler; a great-grandchild, Skylar Austin Fain; four brothers, Reuben, Karl, Oliver, and Alfred Kammler; and two sisters, Leanora Wittenauer and Anita Krazer.
Surviving are his children, Richard (Susan) Kammler of Perryville, Mo., and Elaine (Don) Manion of Trilla, Ill.; six grandchildren, Matthew (Katy) Fain, Beth (Michael) Wise, Johnathan (Niki) Fain, Andrew Kammler, Kate Kammler, and Barbara Kammler; six great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials are appreciated to Heartland Christian Village, Christ United Church of Christ, or Round Grove Sportsmen's Club.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 27, 2010 at Lake View Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Arthur Tinge officiating. Interment will be Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
