Patricia Porzukowiak

Patricia (Patti, Pat) Porzukowiak, nee Belcher, age 70, passed away suddenly at her home in O’Fallon, Illinois on June 24, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Pauline, nee Hastings, Belcher, her siblings Sherman Belcher, Esther Farris, William Belcher, and Wilburn Belcher, and siblings-in-law Ella May Belcher, Ernest Farris, Evelyn Belcher, and Sharon Belcher.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 52 years, Bill, and their sons Tim (Katina) and Bob (Amy), along with their beloved grandsons Ethan and Stosh. She is also survived by their bonus daughter KiKi (Donnie) Meade and their beautiful daughters Grace and Maggie, their bonus granddaughter Grace Grimshaw and her son Zhayd, her brother-in-law Larry (Joanie) Porzukowiak, and their sisters-in-law Maggie Brown and Bonnie Belcher. In addition, she is survived by many wonderful nieces and nephews, who she cherished very much and who frequently referred to her as Aunt Patti. Quoting Rusty, “Aunt Patti is the glue that holds our family together.”

For over 25 years, Pat worked in the Domestics, Lay-away and Jewelry Departments at Kmart in Fairview Heights, along with taking care of her immediate and extended family. She was a great cook but was particularly talented at making birthday and greeting cards for family members and friends along with numerous other crafting projects.

A casual gathering will be held at Lake View Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, Illinois on Sunday, July 9, 2023, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm to remember and celebrate Patti and all that she did for everyone she touched.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
