

Pearl was extremely proud of her children and grandchildren and one of her joys in life was making quilts for them.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob L. Pirtle; her parents, Beryl and Irene, nee Jones, Williams; two sons, Neil Allen Pirtle and Jerry Lee Pirtle; a grandson, Doug Pirtle; a great-grandson Paul Pirtle; three brothers, her twin Earl Williams, John Williams, and Tom Williams; and a sister, Opal VanAusdoll.
Surviving are her children, James R. (special friend Margaret) Pirtle of Belleville, Ill.; two daughters, Fay (Bruce) Harper of New Baden, Ill., and Ida (John) Stallons of Belleville, Ill.; a sister, Blanche Williams; grandchildren, Dale (Tom Lam) Harper, Arnold J. (Jennifer) Pirtle, Shelley (Jim) Wilharm, Jerry "Pete" (Kellye) Pirtle, David (Anna) Pirtle, John M. Stallons, IV, Matthew L. (Kathy) Stallons, Paul A. (Deni) Stallons, James (Carolyn) Pirtle, Mendy (special friend Ryan) Pirtle; 22 great-grandchildren; a very special daughter-in-law, Screda Pirtle; and her dear friend, Gus the Schnauzer.
The family would like to thank Unity Hospice, the staff at Four Fountains Nursing Home, and Dr. Garner for all the special care given to Pearl.
