Phyllis Marion Snyder

Mrs. Snyder was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Belleville, Illinois, and the Kaskaskia Valley Audubon Society. Phyllis worked in the Belleville School District 118 for 30 years. She was an Illinois PTA Life Member and past President of Jefferson School PTA. She belonged to the Livrite Health Club and Metro East Coin and Currency Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, as well as, scrap booking. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who will be truly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Darwin Heely; infant brother, Darwin Heely, Jr.; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Evelyn and Engelbert Snyder; and a sister-in-law, Connie Snyder.

Surviving are her loving husband of 45 years, Robert Snyder; children, Pattie Snyder, Joseph Snyder, Scott (Kim) Snyder, and Brad (Tracy Ables) Snyder; three grandchildren, Teri, Nick, and Amanda Snyder; her mother Burnette Heely; and a brother, Jerry (Maggie) Heely.

Funeral: Services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, November 29, 2012, at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
