

Rebecca was a graduate of Belleville West High School, class of 2000, and was currently attending The Art Institute of St. Louis where she was studying interior design. She was a teacher at Kinder College in Columbia, Illinois. Rebecca was a very crafty individual having an interest in scrapbooking and any other creative endeavor, and enjoyed using Pinterest to share her craftiness. She was a devoted mother and her greatest love was being involved in her daughter’s activities.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Hayden, and two uncles; Vincent and Larry Lintzenich.
Surviving is her husband Robert Martin, her daughter Charlotte “Charlie” Martin, her mother, Joan (Ronald) Messbarger of Rockford, Illinois, father and mother-in-law; Robert and Tammy Sue Martin of Smithton, Illinois, three siblings; Keith (Julie) Hayden of Twin Lakes, Wisconsin, Kim (Dennis) Thiedig of Belleville, Illinois, and Brian (Brandy) Hayden of Collinsville, Illinois, a sister-in-law, Jessica Martin, aunts and uncles; Richard (Bonnie) Lintzenich, Edward (Elaine) Lintzenich, Michael (Sharon) Lintzenich, Christopher (Ann) Lintzenich, Kathleen (Bill) Jones, Theresia Lintzenich, Aileen Lintzenich, Bernard (Wilma) Hobbs, nieces and nephews; Brendon, Brianna, Lilly, Kristin, and Sarahbella Hayden, and Steven and Katie Kincaid, her husband’s grandmother, Peggy Stidham, her husband’s aunt, Jacqueline Stidham, other relatives and countless others that she has touched.
