

Mr. Deltgen was retired from the United States Air Force after 30 years of dedicated service to his country. He currently worked with Civil Service for the last 23 years at Scott Air Force Base at the Medical Center and was an Elder at Bethany Lutheran Church, Fairview Heights, Ill. He loved his family and his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with all of them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Minden & Violet, nee Krause, Deltgen.
Surviving are his loving wife of 49 years, Doreen, nee Young, Deltgen of Shiloh, Ill., who he married on July 14, 1961; his loving children, Melody (fiancé Steve Kraft) Flores of O’Fallon, Ill., Gloria (Jose) Lima of Swansea, Ill., Brenda Webber of Shiloh, Ill., and Minden “Bill” Deltgen of Shiloh, Ill., Grandchildren, Nicole (Jon) Andrade of Belleville, Ill., Heather Lima of St. Louis, MO., Spencer Webber of Shiloh, Ill., Emalee Deltgen and Minden Deltgen both of Fairview Heights, Ill., and an expected great-grandchild, Luke Andrade; a sister, Gloria (Neil) Krause of Fondulac, WI., and a brother, Jeffery (Gail) Deltgen of Menasha, WI., a brother-in-law, Terence (Margie) Young of Wellington, NS Canada, and two sister-in-laws, Deanna (Donald) Blades of Clyde River, NS Canada and Charlene (John) Bain of Alberta, Canada and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
