Vera retired from District 118 as a Speech Therapist
She was preceded in death by her husband, H.A. Kirk; her parents, Aubrey & Blanche, nee Harrman, Evans and one brother, Marvin Evans.
Surviving are her three children, Dr. Mark Kirk, Cydney (James) Smith and James M. Kirk and one granddaughter, Courtney Crossin and a great-granddaughter, Chloe Crossin.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill. Interment will be held immediately following the graveside.
