

Wilbur H. Von Fange, 89, of Shiloh, Illinois, formerly of Kirkwood, Missouri, born July 4, 1924 in Brighton Colorado, was received into the loving arms of the Lord on Friday, May 2, 2014 at his residence.
Mr. Von Fange retired after 30 years of service as an electrical engineer from McDonnell Douglas in 1981 into a life of service to the Lord. He was an U.S. Army Veteran serving in WWII. Wilbur enjoyed wood working, vegetable gardening, and raising fruit trees and strawberries.
He was preceded in death by his parents; William H. and Mary, nee Witt, Von Fange.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 63 years, Ruth Von Fange, nee Abraham, his children; John (Pam) Von Fange of O’Fallon, Missouri, Joyce (Rich) Moll of St. Ann, Missouri, Susan (Mark) Schoedel of Des Peres, Missouri, Karen (Wayne) Collier of Fenton, Missouri, and Marjie (Rick) Hufton, twelve grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

Visitations: Friends may call from 4 to 8 on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Faith Family Church, Shiloh, Illinois, and from 1 to 2 pm on Friday, May 9, 2014 also at the church.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday, May 9, 2014 at Faith Family Church, Shiloh, Illinois. Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
