

Willard was employed at Granite City Steel for 36 years. Upon leaving there, he owned and operated “LaBrot’s Dirt Sales and Hauling,” retiring from there at the age of 82 to lovingly care for his wife, Norma.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Norma LaBrot (nee Fisk); his mother & father Edith LaBrot (nee Carlson) & Charles Austin LaBrot; one son, Curtis Wayne LaBrot; three brothers, Allen LaBrot, Keith LaBrot, and his twin brother Wyman LaBrot; three sisters, Alberta Mullins, Kathlyn Estel, & Melba Lewis.
He is survived by his three sons, David (Linda) LaBrot of Kerrville, TX, Paul (Kathy) LaBrot of Troy, IL, Douglas (Christine) LaBrot of Highland, IL; ten grandchildren, Donna (Tim) Mason of Sikeston, MO, Heather (Mark) Fetters of Sikeston, MO, Kelli (Rusty) Fontenette of Lacombe, LA, Melinda LaBrot of Jefferson, MO, Sheena (AJ) Cato of Iberia, MO, Curtis "CJ" (Candra) LaBrot of Iberia, MO, Zachary (Shelbie) LaBrot of Slidell, LA, Sarah LaBrot of Maryville, IL, Austin LaBrot of Clinton, MS, and Logan LaBrot of Highland, IL; and sixteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL. Pastor Donald Andreasen will officiate.
A visitation for Willard will be held prior to the funeral, from 10:00 A.M.- 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Final interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
