William Milton Patterson Jr.

Mr. Patterson proudly served his country as a Master Sergeant with the U.S. Army. After retiring, he also worked for 20 years at CSC, Computer Sciences Corporation. He loved to dance and was an avid golfer. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a great friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, William M. Patterson, Sr.

Surviving are his loving wife of 31 years, Charlotte L. Patterson, nee Brown; his children, Elizabeth (Jerry) Travous and Lawrence (Nicole) Crawmer; a grandson, Mitchell Travous; his mother, Doris Ann Heeter; step-mother, Rosemary Patterson; his brothers, Michael, Raymond, Paul, Joel, Shawn, Shannon, and Greg; sisters, Cindy, Debbie, and Jennye; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Sunday, September 30, 2012, at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois.

Funeral: Services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, October 1, 2012, at the funeral home with Pastor David Gray officiating. Interment will be held in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
