林福有 Fu You Lin

林福有, Fu You Lin was born on November 1, 1936 in Zhuhai, China. He married 黃玉影 ,Yu Ying Huang on August 12, 1957 and have been together for 66 years. 林福有, Fu You Lin was 黃玉影 ,Yu Ying Huang’s rock and his personality perfectly complimented hers.

He came to America in 1985 with his wife 黃玉影 ,Yu Ying Huang as immigrants and built their family restaurant called Jade Garden in Cahokia, IL.

林福有, Fu You Lin had the biggest heart and the most contagious smile and laughter. He was fearless and incredibly compassionate. He loved cooking for his family and traveling with the love of his life. He was strong-willed and his strength undoubtedly helped him deal with life’s challenges.

林福有, Fu You Lin is survived by five children with his wife 黃玉影 ,Yu Ying Huang: Guo Mei Lin (Husband Yi Biao Li), Guo Qiong Lin (Husband Tony Shan), Helen Lin (Husband Christopher Leung), Wayne Lin (Wife Ann Lin), and Sharon Lin (Husband Kenneth Wong); Ten grandchildren Wan Bao Li (35) (Husband Xue Song Xie), Samuel Leung (30), Mandy Vazquez (29) (Husband Ivan Vazquez), Zhu Jun Li (29) (Husband Yu Zheng Zheng), Loff Lin (28), Kitty Lin (27) (Husband Steven Nguyen), Esther Aoieong (24), Chelina Wong (21) Nathan Wong (19), and Angelica Lin (19); and one great grandson Sui Ran Xie

林福有, Fu You Lin was a wonderful brother, father, and grandfather. He was a strong fighter and will be missed very much so by everyone. We know that he is free from pain and is peacefully up there enjoying his favorite meals as he is watching over us. We love you forever and always.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 1:00pm in Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 N. Illinois St., Fairview Heights, IL 62208 with visitation from 10:00am until time of service. Interment to follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens.
