Loving husband of Maryann Posante of over 61 years. Oldest son of the late Samuel and Evelyn Posante. Loving father of Tina Boehnlein (the late Robert Boehnlein Jr.), Gina Stesny (Joseph), and Tony Posante (Stacy). Loving grandfather of Alisha Shaffer, the late Joseph Stesny Jr., Mark Shaffer Jr., Jesse Stesny, Tony Posante Jr. (Michelle), the late Andrew Whalen, Mariah Posante and the late Ashley Posante. Great-grandfather of Jennah Meyer, Brianna, Gage, Izabelle, Caleb, Lucas, Reece, Anthony, Amealia, and Jayden. Great great grandfather of Ashton Robert. Oldest brother of Shirley Armaro (Frank) MaryLou Pinczuk (Richard), Sam Posante Jr. (Shelley), Evelyn Blackburn (Joseph), Marlene Shaffer (James). Uncle to many.

Carl was a resident of Westlake for over 50 years. He retired from Ganley Lincoln Mercury as a mechanic. He also ran his own car and body shop. He was a union steward. always fighting for the rights of the employees at his place of work.

Carl was a hard worker. He was the go to person for everything mechanical.

He had the best jokes and sense of humor; always bringing a smile to everyone's face.

He enjoyed traveling and loved meeting friends everywhere he went.

Carl will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation at church for Carl will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 525 Dover Center Rd., Bay Village, OH 44140. To follow, a funeral mass will occur at 11:30 AM. Entombment at St. Joseph Cemetery, 32789 Detroit Ave, Avon, Ohio 44011.
