She was born in Brookville, PA, the daughter of the late Jess Barnett and Helen Himes Barnett. She is the beloved mother of Linda Lemke, Wilbert (Debbie) Dawson, John (Kathy) Dawson, Brian (Heather) Dawson, and the late Peggy Dawson, Randy Dawson and Bonnie (Joe) Schaefer; cherished grandmother of John Dawson, Kimberly (Ray) Dawson-Petrella, Michelle Dawson, Thomas (Angela) Lemke, Tony Dawson, Daniel Dawson, Shawn Dawson, Teresa (Matthew) Fochs, Joseph (Jessi) Schaefer, Brad (Kelly) Schaefer, Briley Dawson and David Barnett; great grandmother of Ava, Jimmy, Autumn, Miranda, Jenae, Gage, Ethan, Cadence, Cameron, Ryan, Zachary, Dynai, Allissa, Joseph, Caleb, Leila, Atrel and Ashad; great-great grandmother of Will, Brynlee, James, Jayse, Jessie, Alana, Christopher and Amiah; dear sister of Robert (Alice, deceased) Barnett, Mary Cartwright and the late William Barnett, Sara Malone, Merle Barnett, Melvin Barnett, Florence Twillinger, Theodore Barnett, Samuel Barnett, Caroline McKillup, Kenneth Barnett, Richard Barnett, Elizabeth Barnett, James Barnett and Thelma Schuckers; adored aunt of many.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 11:30AM at First Baptist Church, 101 Main St., Brookville, PA 15825. Committal services will follow at Brookville Cemetery, 667 Cemetery Rd., Brookville, PA.
