HUGH MICHAEL MCLAUGHLIN, age 90, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2023. Dear brother of Mary (Alex, Dec) Makowski; loving uncle of Mary Carrick (Allan), Steve Makowski, Tom Makowski and the late Mike Makowski; great uncle of 10; and great great uncle of 8;

Hugh was a commodities specialist for NASA retiring in his 80s. His favorite hobby was reading although after retiring he learned to paint and even sold some of his paintings. He volunteered for the West Side Catholic Center, hospice of the Western Reserve and was very active in his church, St. Bernadette in Westlake. Hugh was also a member of Third Order of St. Frances since 1971.

Mass of Christian burial Saturday, February 11, at 11am in St Bernadette Church, 2256 Clague Rd. Interment Sunset Memorial Park. Family will receive friends in the Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home, 20820 Lorain Rd from 10am-10:30am Saturday prior to church. 440-331-0500.
