Jose Antonio Cortes, age 63, beloved husband of Nancy Cortes, unforgettable & loving father of Joe, Cynthia, Jasmine, Jeremy, Jose jr., Max, Marco, Joselyn. Grandfather to many, Aliana, Angel, Antonio, Trinity, Marrissa, Akari, Jayla, Demetrius jr., Sarenity, Jeremy jr., McKenzi, Penelope & Brysen.

An avid Cleveland sports fan, die hard Ohio State fanatic. Born on July 31st,1961 in Utuado, Puerto Rico to Confesor & Ramanita Cortes. Brother to the late Lenore Morales (Eddie), the late Tomas Calez (Terri), Maritza Rivera (Wilfredo), Aciades Rivas (the late Julio), the late Marilyn Young (Al), Maximino Cortes (Patricia), Maria Lopez, Lillian Webb (the late Paul), Jeannette Cortes, Wanda Reddy (Jim), Sandra Cruz (Moises), Glenda Rader (Rick) & Angelica Rojas. Known for pulling quarters from behind the ear he is also a hilarious uncle to many nieces and nephews and awesome friend better known as Quichie (Dawg).

Honorable and admirable man serving in the United States Army and dedicating service to St. Theodosius Cemetery for over two decades. We will honor our great father by wearing our Ohio State gear during visitation hours. We welcome all to do the same.

A visitation for Jose will be held Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home, 20820 Lorain Rd., Fairview Park, OH, 44126, where funeral service will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 10AM. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, 3607 Pearl Rd, Cleveland, OH 44109.
