I’m so very sorry to have just this sad news about Laura . I worked with her mom Noreen . She always to a small group of us after Bob passed please keep up with Laura if something should happen to me . Jan Shields made sure that happened we always gathered for her birthday. She brought a picture of Noreen and put it on the table . Lottery tickets were one of her favorite gifts & a Rib dinner as we celebrated her  . One fond memory Laura loved the browns & the Indians she had 2 bedrooms when she lived with her parents . One decorated in Browns & 1 in Indians ! Lucky girl. She knew all my family’s birthdays & seemed to know everyone’s . Deepest condolences to the family  & all those who called her friend  . Nancy Carver Lebron 

I remember when we first met at camp cheerful we became great friends we used to go to junior achievement at camp cheerful which met on Wednesday nights in the fall

I would always see her at My Choice, Friends Forever Bowling, and she was so kind and sweet. She would always light up the room with her smile, and I would always be on hand to help her on the steps at the bowling alley whenever she needed help. She was a fan of the Cleveland Guardians and would give me updates on how they’re doing. I will miss all of these things. Rest easy, Laura. 🕊️

I've known Laura since Sunbeam and Lincoln  West High School. She was a part of my life and I tried to include her in a lot of activities. It was special going to the baseball games with her.   I'm not sure what to call it for all of us going to the malls to watch a movie, shopping or just getting out to a comfortable place. We were just there.

We are so sorry and saddened to hear of Laura’s passing. She had been such a good friend of mine for years. She will be sorely missed. Deepest condolences 💐 Coleen Moran and family. 

Laura always had a quick smile and helpful hand.  She was a long-time camper at Camp Cheerful and will be missed by many.  


To the entire Lawson family,  My deepest sympathies and condolences of Laura's passing.   My prayers and thoughts go out to all of you. I was quite shocked when i got this sad news.   I first met Laura in 1986 at Camp Cheeerful in Strongsville, Oh as i was a counselor.    Thanks for the Great memories at camp and  always up for a conversation.             I am so sorry for your loss and she was my friend from camp cheerful.. she was so good and smile and funny person i did help her when she was in camp  and  she was wonderful person..  she is rest in peace we love her and she will miss everyone praying for her family..

Growing up with you we butted heads often, but we always loved each other. I'm glad you got to meet and love Tilly. I know you're excited to be back with grandma.

Laura was one of a kind! What a true social butterfly....loved her hometown sports teams, going out to eat, seeing movies, shopping at the mall, bowling, her faith-sharing group, and local concerts. I think she could chat with anyone. She adored her niece and nephews, and most especially her great-niece, Matilda. She delighted in sharing pictures of that little sweetheart. Laura and I met at the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities main office when she worked at Hattie's Cafe running the cash register. She loved that job and interacting with the staff and her fellow coworkers. She and I discovered that we didn't live far from each other and began enjoying monthly dinner and movie outings. Several years ago, Laura moved into her own apartment; she was immensely proud of her independence and quite fierce about it. She was an affectionate,  loving woman who cared very deeply about her family and close friends. We shared many a laugh and sometimes a few tears. She often commented on the loss of her beloved parents; so happy she is now reunited with them and back in their loving embrace! RIP my dear friend. Love, Margie

Jeff and Julie, Mom and I are so sorry for your loss. We've known Laura her whole life and it's hard to imagine she's gone. She has no more struggles now. She can be with Norene and Bob at peace.
