Nancy Marie Benya

Nancy Marie Benya, age 88, of Fairview Park and Rocky River, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 24, 2023. Nancy was the beloved wife of 51 years to the late Leonard Benya; Mother of Michael (Nancy); Judy Cornelius (Kevin); Ken and Keith (the late Patti); grandmother of Jason (Erin), Nathan, Kristen (David), Tim, Dan and Kyle (Paige); great grandmother of Bennett, Audrey, and Aiden; cousin and aunt to many very special loved ones. Nancy worked at RCA/GE for many years and was an avid volunteer at the Fairview Park Senior Center. She also loved to play bingo and spend time in her garden. The heart of Nancy was her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. There was nothing more in the world she loved than her family. A visitation for Nancy will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 10:30 AM until the time of mass at 11:30 AM, at St. Raphael's, located at 525 Dover Center Rd., Bay Village, OH 44140. A funeral procession to Holy Cross Cemetery (14609 Brookpark Road, Brook Park), will take place, where Nancy will be laid to rest. Following interment, Nancy's family would like to extend an invitation to a luncheon at St. Raphael's Community Room at 2 pm, to share a meal in Nancy's memory.
