So sorry to hear this.  I had Mr. O'Rourke for English and Social Studies (block class) in the early seventies.  He was a great teacher and person.

So sorry to hear of Tom's passing.....I worked as a lunch room monitor at RRJH for many years .  Over the years, Tom would be the teacher on duty .   Tom always carried that smile and positive attitude no matter when you met up with him.   May God keep him in His loving care.

Tom took me under his wing when I was a young teacher/coach.  I owe him a debt of gratitude that can never be repaid. I will miss him.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Vicki. Tom was a wonderful friend and coworker. He kept us all laughing like no one else could. He was a good teacher and a good leader of teachers. He treated everyone with respect. He was such a good man. Ian so sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your husband.

His face looks familar.  I believe this is the same Tom O'Roarke that taught at Assumption when I did; somewhere between  1972 to 1975. It's been a long time, but I remember he was very good with the students and always had a good sense of humor.

So sorry to hear about Mr. O'Rourke, enjoyed him as a teacher and a coach too. A very nice person to have known in my life.

We were very sad to hear about the loss of Mr. O'Rourke.  He was an enjoyable teacher, a fun basketball coach, and a great man.  He always knew how to get a laugh with his one-liners.  He will be missed.

Mr. O'Rourke was a fantastic teacher. I still have such fond memories of 6th grade English class. My condolences to his family.

Mr. O'Rourke was the only teacher I ever had who made me actually enjoy Social Studies.  He was an enthusiastic, positive person.  I will never forget him. Rest in Peace, Mr. O'Rourke.

I worked for the Rocky River Schools for many years and had the great privilege to work with Tom and to call him a friend. We had some spirited conversations, and I will miss wisdom and sense of humor.  Godspeed Tom.

Tom was kind, funny, (gave the best retirement speeches), had a happy face and great smile.  When we team taught we had many jokes that the kids never understood.  My heart hurts for his family and I am sad.  He was, also, my good "email forwarding" friend . Rest in peace, good friend.

Tom was a wonderful person and a tremendous educator! He will be missed very much by all of us.

Tom and I always had a special relationship.Even Though are visits consisted of family gatherings and not on a social level We always took the time to talk to each other.Not just about the weather or current events we shared our lives with each other.And those times I will treasure forever.Vikie My thoughts and Prayers are with you and your family in the upcoming days and weeks ahead Its going to be hard but Our Lord  Jesus Christ will get you through it.
