William “Bill” Bailey, lovingly known as “Pawpaw” to those who adored him most, passed away on May 20, 2026, leaving behind a family forever changed by his love, strength, humor, and unwavering devotion.
Bill was the kind of man whose presence filled a room — steady, hardworking, and full of heart. He spent many years working in the steelyard industry, where his determination and grit reflected the same strength he carried throughout his life. He was also a proud landscape business owner who took great pride in creating beauty with his own two hands. Whether he was working long days outdoors or helping someone in need, Bill believed in honest work, loyalty, and taking care of the people he loved.
Beyond his work ethic, music lived deeply in Bill’s soul. As a drummer, he found joy and peace behind the drum set, where every beat reflected his passion for life. Music was one of the many ways he Lconnected with others and ll expressed the spirit that made him unforgettable.
But above all else, Bill’s greatest title was “Pawpaw.” Nothing brought him more happiness than his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He loved fiercely, protected deeply, and made every moment with family count. His pride in his family was evident in every story he shared, every laugh around the table, and every hug that made you feel safe. He was the kind of Pawpaw whose love became the foundation of generations.
Bill was also a cherished husband, dedicated father, beloved son, devoted brother, and loyal friend. He carried a big heart beneath his tough exterior and gave unconditional love to those lucky enough to know him. His wisdom, humor, stubbornness, and caring nature will continue to live on in the memories shared by all who loved him.
Though our hearts ache in his absence, we find comfort knowing his legacy lives on through the family he treasured so deeply. The lessons he taught, the laughter he gave, and the love he poured into others will never fade.
