Josephine, we are so so sorry to learn of your Mother’s passing. Losing a Mom is like losing a part of our heart. She was an elegant lady who showed so much love for her family as she was present at so many of her Grandchildren’s events. May Mrs. Raposa Rest In Peace. ❤️

Although I didn't know your mom that well, I do (like Mike N and many others) have great memories of your parents' house and the parties we had. Those were different times, but their welcoming spirit (and ability to let things slide) were an inspiration to me as we became parents.

Enjoy the memories, bask in the love, and know that her spirit lives on. May we all have such a long and amazing life.

Looking back it seems like we had a party once a week at your house in the year 1971 and your mom never made anyone feel anything but more than welcome to come. I remember she used to make this awesome meal with chourico, onions and peppers in a tomato sauce. That lady could cook.
Every time I think of your father and mother I always picture, in my mind, them smiling. They were both very warm and welcoming people. Knowing them made me a better person , I was lucky to have such extraordinary role models at such an impressionable age.
