Carol H. Fitzgerald

Carol H. (Leduc) Fitzgerald, age 76, of Fall River, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at St. Anne’s Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Frederick Fitzgerald and the companion of Paul Jolivet of Fall River, for over twenty years.

Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Leo J. and Priscilla (Daveau) Leduc, she was a lifelong resident of the city. She attended Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School and worked as an Assistant to Operations for Logistics Management. Prior to that, she worked as a waitress and a sewing machine operator in the textile industry for many years. She was a communicant of the former Notre Dame Church.

Carol enjoyed sewing, crafting, knitting, music, dancing, cooking and baking. She loved to participate in events to benefit Community Autism Resources, and most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her companion, Paul Jolivet; three children, Cheryl Harrison (Eric) of Russell, KS, Charlene Medeiros (Henry) of Somerset and Frederick Fitzgerald of Fall River; six grandchildren, Crystal (Paul), Brandon (Ky), Erica, Zoe, Eliana and Sophia; six great-grandchildren, Jayden, Ryan, Jaide, Aydin, Lilyanah and Kai, (on the way); one-sister, Annette Yee (Wayne) of Fall River; two brothers, Leo Leduc, Jr., of Taunton, Henry Leduc (Virginia) of FL; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was the sister of the late Linda Pacheco and sister-in-law of the late Sandra Leduc.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 11:00AM in Holy Trinity Parish, 951 Stafford Rd., Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mass. Burial will be private. Arrangements are in the care of the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME at CHERRY PLACE.
