Charlotte R. (Hunsinger) Sullivan, age 79, of Westport, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of James E. Sullivan, to whom she has been married for the past 62 years.
Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Harold E. and Kathleen “Kay” (Mullen) Hunsinger, she lived in Westport over fifty years and enjoyed wintering in Hobe Sound, Florida.
She attended B.M.C. Durfee High School and worked as a sewing machine operator at the former Chace Curtain in Fall River for many years.
Charlotte and her husband enjoyed travelling throughout the country in their motor home having visited 49 states, Canada and Mexico. They collected a stone from each place along the way.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by, one daughter, Roxanne Peasley and her partner Greg of CT; one son, Robert Sullivan and his wife Maureen of Dartmouth; one sister, Libby Hunsinger-Davenport of New Bedford; one brother, Branley C. Hunsinger Sr. and his wife Barbara of Fall River, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late James Sullivan Jr. and sister of the late Kathleen “Kathy” Vital.
Private arrangements are in the care of the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, Fall River.
