

Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, he was the son of the late Daniel A. and Jeanette (Lemerise) Marchand. Daniel moved with his family to Fall River as a young child where he spent most of his life.
A graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, Daniel was a maintenance worker for the Fall River Trial Court and a material handler at Home Depot in Dartmouth.
An avid Montreal Canadiens hockey fan, Daniel also loved practicing his faith at St. Anne Shrine of Fall River, camping, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his sons, Keith Marchand and his wife Michelle of Westport, and Jeremy Marchand and his wife Rebecca of Dartmouth; six cherished grandchildren, Hannah, Logan, Maxwell, Noah, Kendall, and Rylee; his sister, Dolores Marchand of Fall River; his niece, Nicole Marchand of Fall River; and his great-nephew, Dillon Marchand of Fall River.
