Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Cornelius L. and Margaret (Mitchell) Sullivan. A 1935 graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, she loved spending summers on Cape Cod, all things Irish, antiquing, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters Maureen Gauthier and her husband Hector of Fall River, Cornelia Burgmyer and her husband Leonard of Somerset, and Mary E. Glineburg and her husband Dr. Robert Glineburg of St. Paul, MN; a son James J. Harrington III of Fall River, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Anna Sullivan, Mary Rose and John Sullivan.
Her Funeral will be held Monday, March 5, 2012 at 8:00AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St. Fall River, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00AM in Holy Name Church,709 Hanover St, Fall River. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Visiting Hours Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her honor may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38195 or to the Adams House, 1168 Highland Ave. Fall River, MA 02720.
