

Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Joseph C. and Yvonne M. (Lavoie) Giblin, she lived in Fall River for many years before moving to Fairhaven in 1982.
A graduate of the Union Hospital School of Nursing, she worked as a Registered Nurse at the Union Hospital and later in life for the Red Cross before her retirement. Mrs. Conlon enjoyed her travels around the world with her husband and loved spending time with her family – especially at the family home on West Island.
She is survived by two sons; Thomas D. Conlon III and his wife Katherine, Mark J. Conlon and his wife Christine all of Fall River, seven daughters; Mary Beth Boyd of Fairhaven, JoAnne Conlon of Maui, HI, Barbara Conlon and her husband Greg Jones of Dartmouth, Cynthia Conlon of Chester, CT, Eileen Conlon and her husband Naran Burchinow of Ottawa Hills, OH, Cathleen Parker and her husband Patrick of Oak Bluffs, Martha’s Vineyard, Kelly Sleight and her husband Paul of Dartmouth, two sisters; Anne McNally and her husband Gene of Orlando, FL, Mary G. Heroux and her husband Paul of Fairhaven, brother-in-law William Webb, husband of her late sister Carolyn Webb, nineteen grandchildren; Thomas D. Conlon IV, Kevin, Brigid, Ryley, and Evan Conlon, Lauryn and Owen Rego, Kienan and Evonne Morrell, Alexandra, Emily, Stephanie, and Victoria Burchinow, Jonathan, Matthew, and Timothy Parker, Michaela, Morgan, and Brendan Sleight, three great-grandchildren; Quinn Conlon, Hunter and Benjamin Parker, and many nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at 8:00AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St., Fall River, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00AM in Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover St., Fall River. Visiting hours Monday from 4:00 to 7:00PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her honor may be made to Our Lady’s Haven, 71 Center St., Fairhaven, MA 02719. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
