He was born in Fall River the son of the late Andrew and Lena (Fontaine) Jennings and has been a lifelong resident of the city. Mr. Jennings was a graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School and was a United States Army Veteran having served during the Korean War.
He was employed as a Floor Manager for A & A Manufacturing in Fall River for 46 years.
Mr. Jennings is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Lorraine Allard, Doris Guimar, Anita Carey-Jones and Robert Jennings.
His funeral will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 8am from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT CHERRY PLACE , 178 Winter St., Fall River followed by his funeral mass at 9am in Notre Dame Church, 529 Eastern, Ave., Fall River. Visiting hours will be Friday from 5 to 8pm. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
