Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Harold L. and Mary (Pearson) Dennis, she was a lifelong resident of Fall River having summered in Common Fence Point in Portsmouth. She was a graduate of BMC Durfee, Class of 1940. In the 1950’s she worked at Firestone Tire and Rubber for 10 years and then as a nurse’s aide at the former Truesdale Hospital,- now Charlton Memorial-where she continued to volunteer for over 20 years after her retirement.
She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and enjoyed playing the organ.
Surviving: one grandson: Wayne D. Eubank Jr. and his wife Robin of Fall River, former daughter-in-law: Jane B. Perry of Tiverton. She was the mother of the late Wayne D. Eubank, Sr., grandmother of the late Scott M. Eubank and sister of the late Martha Guimond and Harold Dennis.
Funeral Service Friday, May 28, 2010 at 12 Noon in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St., Fall River. Her family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 – 12 Noon prior to her service. Flowers welcome or contributions in her honor may be made to Family Services Association, 101 Rock St., Fall River, MA 02720. Burial is private.
