

James C. Rusin, age 43, of Swansea, passed away Tuesday, May 08, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the husband of Laura A. Matos-Rusin to whom he had been married for the past 14 years.
Born in Fall River, a son of Ronald S. Rusin, Sr. of Westport and the late Claudette A. (Larrabee) Rusin, he was a graduate of Westport High School, Class of 1986. Self employed, he was owner and operator of JR Construction and also co-owner of R & R Reality with his brother, Ron.
An avid bowler, he was inducted in to the SMBA-Southeastern Massachusetts Bowling Association Hall of Fame. James loved cruises, Disney and trips to the casino.
Surviving in addition to his wife and father are two sisters, Christine A. Frank and husband John of Fall River, Debra J. Lambert and husband Donald of Westport; two brothers Ronald S. Rusin, Jr. and wife Dawn and his twin John P. Rusin and wife Dawn and mother-in-law: Maria Matos all of Swansea, his dog “Lola” and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 8:30AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St. Fall River with a funeral mass at 10AM in Notre Dame Church, 529 Eastern Ave. Fall River. Visiting hours Friday from 4:30 to 8:30pm.
