Born in Fall River, a son of the late Ambrose and Alice (Collins) St. Pierre he was a lifelong resident of the city.
A proud veteran of the United States Air Force he served during the Korean Conflict and was awarded many medals of honor. Mr. St. Pierre worked in maintenance for the Frito-Lay Corporation in Fall River until his retirement. He was a communicant of Holy Trinity.
He was a skilled wood crafter and cabinet maker, having made many beautiful heirloom pieces that his family cherishes. He also loved to cook and enjoyed gardening. As an avid New England sports fan his beloved Boston Bruins were always his champions.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Karen Bentley and her husband Brian and Renee Silva and her husband Steven, both of Fall River; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late Steven R. St. Pierre and Debra Donovan, and brother of the late Yvette Pineau, Gertrude Dionne, Jeanne Dupere, Pauline Boyer, Donald, Armand, Roland, Oscar, Maurice and Roger St. Pierre.
His Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 8:00 am from the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter Street, Fall River followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00am in Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover Street, Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Visiting hours are Thursday from 5:00 – 8:00 pm.
