

Keith Cashman, age 52, of Swansea, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. He was the husband of Erika L. (Karam) Cashman to whom he had been married for the past 30 years.
Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Roy and Rosalina (Silvia) Cashman. He lived in Fall River for many years prior to moving to Swansea.
A third generation Firefighter, Keith was first appointed to the Fall River Fire Department in 2010. While working in Fall River, he was first assigned to Engine 6 and then Engine 3 at the Center Station on Bedford Street. He served the city for 5 years before transferring to the Framingham Fire Department in 2015 where for the last several years he has been assigned to Heavy Rescue 1. Keith also worked for many years as a CDL tractor trailer driver for Dixie Warehousing in Lakeville.
Keith was an excellent cook, loved playing the guitar, hosting gatherings for family and friends, riding his bike on numerous bike paths, and taking his beloved dog, Lunabelle on walks at Colt State Park. Always creative, he was excellent at drawing and even tinkered with woodworking. In a true labor of love, Keith renovated an old farmhouse he purchased with his wife eight years ago. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Kevin Cashman of Fall River; twin daughters, Cassidy and Angelina Cashman both of Swansea; one sister, Debra Furtado; one brother, Joe Furtado; two grandchildren, Jayden and Kiva Cashman all of Fall River; mother-in-law, Miriam Santiago; father-in-law, Louis Leeman both of Swansea; sisters-in-law, Jerilyn Karam-Kozak of Swansea, Jessica Slater of Freetown, Allana Allik of Pawcatuck, CT, brother-in-law, Richard Leeman of Swansea, along with many cherished nieces, nephews, beloved brothers and sisters- in-law, and a large loving family of aunts, uncles and cousins.
His Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 10:30 AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited. His visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Contributions in his honor may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Swansea.
