Misty Lee Meninno, age 27, of Assonet, passed away Friday, August 12, 2011 in Rhode Island Hospital unexpectedly. Born in Taunton, the daughter of Scott R. and Lisa M. (Vickery) Meninno, she had lived in Norton for many years before moving to Assonet seven years ago. She also resided in Fall River.
She was a graduate of Southeastern Regional, class of 2002 and Bridgewater State University, class of 2011 where she majored in Early Childhood Education and Child Psychology and minored in Special Education. She also worked at area Day Care Centers.
Misty was a cheerleader and avid Pittsburgh Steelers football fan. She enjoyed the beach, baking, and helping her family and friends.
Surviving in addition to her parents, one brother: Brandon E. Meninno of Assonet, grandfathers; Edward Vickery of Assonet and Rocco Meninno of Clinton, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was granddaughter of the late Nancy and Dennis McGee and Lynne Carter.
Her Funeral will be held Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 10:00AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at CHERRY PLACE 178 Winter Street Fall River followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00AM In St. Joseph’s Church 1335 North Main Street Fall River. Visiting hours Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00PM. Burial private.
