

Born in Battambang, Cambodia, he was the son of the late Chhay and Pong.
Neang worked as a warehouse packer in the food and beauty supply industry for 20+ years. He was a member of the Fall River Massachusetts Khmer Buddhist Society, Inc. and received a performance recognition award in 2007. On April 9, 2019, Neang was sworn in as a proud US Citizen. He was a kind soul with an enormous heart. His generous ways spoke volume of his genuine character. Everyone knew him to be so selfless, a man who was quick to lend a helping hand and give the shirt off his back to those in need. Neang will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving and devoted father and grandfather.
He is survived by four children; Maliy Ngov and her husband Sokhom Ngov of Downey, CA, Mala Long, Mikey Long and his wife Ven Long all of Long Beach, CA, and Thy Chhay of Cambodia; five stepchildren, Chan Keo-Hua of Riverside, CA, Chanrin Keo and his wife Tour Moeuy of Fall River, MA, Nicky Keo and his wife Chau Keo of McKinney, TX, Sara Keo and her husband Savuth Ream of Philadelphia, PA, and Chantra Keo of Garden Grove, CA; grandchildren, Channy Keo, Diane Keo, Vincent Vuong, Anthony Keo, Junior Chinh, Nina Keo, Laila Keo, Rathany Chea, Jada Moeuy, Jordan Kem, Anton Keo, Chavon Moeuy, Jhonny Keo, Jesselyn Chhu, Melanie Chhu, Nye Ngov, Malina MaoLong, Andrew MaoLong, Marilyn Bunsynat, Tomi Long, Kaylum Long, Kenji Long, SoMolly Sam, Ebony Ream, Tatiana Ream, Brandon Ream, Angelina Ream, Abygail Ream, Ayden Ream, Niko Ream, Dillon Keo, Lillian Keo and many more; great-grandchildren, Chanthy Sok, Summer Sok, Ethan Sok, Zariyah Hamith, Gabriella Collins, Jillian Vuong, Jaelin Chea, Daevin Tran, Caesin Chea-Hean, Railah Hean, Anton Keo Jr, Zayriael Keo, Ziyad Keo, Kayden Kem, and many more.

His visitation will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022, from 8:15 to 9:15 AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River, followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Memory and Hope at Swan Point Crematory, 585 Blackstone Blvd., Providence, RI.
