Born in Kampong Speu, Cambodia, Reth later made his home in the United States, where he dedicated many years of service to Merdien before retiring in 2006.
Reth found joy in life’s simple pleasures—singing karaoke, traveling to Cambodia, Canada, and across the United States, and, most of all, spending meaningful time with family and friends.
He is survived by his children: Thy Reth of Fall River, Sokhorn Reth and her husband Timmie Khim of Lowell, Kheary Reth and her partner Michael Thompson of Fall River, Khalie Reth and her fiancé Corey Dugan of Fall River and Tommy Reth of Fall River, twelve grandchildren, Julina Buth, Iymanie Silva, Eimmie Khim, Amiliya Khim, Aaliyah Khim, Nathan Sem-Reth, Ryan Sem-Reth, Jadelyn Silva, Lynniha Silva, K’son Morales, Royce Dugan and Tate Reth.
A merit transferring ceremony will take place on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Cambodian Buddhist Temple (Wat Uddom Saharatanaram), 745 Highland Avenue, Fall RIver, MA 02720. Relatives and friends are invited.
