Robert J. “Bob” Rioux, age 85, passed away peacefully, although reluctantly on October 16, 2016 at the Adams House. He was the beloved husband of the late Sheila (Flynn) Rioux and son of the late Romeo J. and Sophie (Urban) Rioux.

He was a supporter of all New England sports teams, a hole-in-one golfer and along with his late wife, an avid vacationer having been numerous times to Bermuda, New Orleans and Ft. Myer’s Beach.
Bob is survived by his siblings, Sr. Barbara Rioux, OP and Sr. Nancy Rioux, OP of Kentucky, cousins and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, with Sheila Freitas-Haley, Stephanie Freitas Dines and Nancy Gendreau being singled out for their determination in getting him to the Belmont Club and the Tipsy Seagull one last time, where Bob’s last words would surely be “Here’s looking at you, kid”.
