Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late William D. and Rose R. (Barry) Keefe.
She received her Masters from Bridgewater State College, Class of 1952, taught first grade for 41 years in the Fall River School System, retiring in 1990, and was a member of the Bristol County, Massachusetts and National Retired Teacher’s Associations.
Mrs. Sullivan was a member of the Friends of St. Anne’s Hospital and the Auxiliary of Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was a veracious reader, enjoyed the New York Time crossword puzzle, and was a knitter extraordinaire!
Surviving: nephew: Keefe Bailey of Sherborn, three nieces: M. Shauna Weeks of Mashpee, Rosemary E. Littlefield of Hingham, and Georgia Bailey of Sarasota, FL, many great nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Ellen Bailey.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 10AM in St. Christopher’s Church, 1584 Main Rd., Tiverton. Visiting hours Friday 4-6 in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St. Fall River. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
