Suzanne E. Coriaty

Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Normand and Mariette (Robideaux) Castonguay, she lived in Fall River and Somerset for many years prior to moving to Fairhaven.

A graduate of B.M.C, Durfee High School, Class of 1974, she worked as an accountant and office controller for 35 years.

Sue loved knitting, the beach and most of all spending time with her family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren whom she adored.

She is survived by three children, Derek Coriaty and his wife Christine of Swansea, Marc Coriaty and his wife Jennifer of Pompano Beach, FL, Kheley Sowersby and her husband Kyle of Fairhaven; three sisters, Louise Castonguay of North Kingstown, RI, Paulette Cerutti and her husband Charley of Pasadena, CA, Mariette Castonguay of Fall River; one brother, Normand Castonguay and his wife Marianne of Litchfield, NH; three grandchildren, Liam, Charlie and Piper Sowersby, many nieces and nephews and her best friends Diane Coriaty and Gail Sowersby. She was the sister of the late Pierre Castonguay.

Her Visitation will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 9:15 to 10:15AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of the Desert Church, 300 N. Eastern Avenue, Fall River. Relatives and friends invited. Contributions in her honor may be made to Southcoast Health, 200 Mill Rd. Fairhaven, MA 02719. Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
