

Theresa A. (Raposo) Lambert, age 81, of Dartmouth, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, surrounded by her husband, children and grandchildren. She was the wife of David Lambert, to whom she had been married for 63 years.
Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Evelyn (Vachon) Raposo.
Theresa worked for Kerr Mill as a retail associate and later as a Matron for the Fall River Police Department for 13 years prior to retiring.
In her spare time, Theresa enjoyed weekly Saturday brunches with friends. She loved her annual trips to Aruba with her longtime friends. A woman of great faith, Theresa’s greatest accomplishment in life was her family, and she was dedicated to helping raise her grandchildren and great-grandchildren by helping anyway she could.
Besides her husband, Theresa is survived by four children, Lori Rita and her husband Jeffrey of Dartmouth, Lynn Leandro and her husband Jeffrey of Dartmouth, Pamela Daly and her husband Jack of Westwood and David Lambert and his wife Melissa of Dartmouth; one brother, Gilbert Raposo; eleven grandchildren, Shannon Lee DaSilva, Jared Rita, Georgina Lambert, Lucas Lambert, Kaitlyn Rita Campiola, Sarah Rita, Kelsey Leandro, Trevor Leandro, Dakota Glassman, Liam Lambert and Danica Lambert; eleven great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Theresa was the mother-in-law of the late John Lambert.
Her Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 10:00AM in St. Julie Billiart Church, 494 Slocum Rd., Dartmouth. Those wishing to attend are kindly asked to proceed directly to the church and arrive no later than 9:45AM. Burial in Evergreen Town Cemetery, Dartmouth. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00PM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Theresa’s honor may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
