Born in Rochester, New York, he was a son of the late Willie J. Ellison Sr., and Ella Mae (Bunton) Ellison.
He worked at Royal Asphalt as an asphalt layer in the construction industry for many years. He enjoyed coloring, listening to music and cheering on the Buffalo Bills.
He is survived by his sisters, Dr. Gloria F. Saddler and her husband Melvin Coleman of Fall River, Daphnie Ellison of Roxbury, Alliyah Chambliss of Raynham and Precious Benjamin of Rochester, NY, his niece, Santita A. Castellano and her husband Jason of Fall River; nephew, William Saddler and his wife Carmen of Fall River and his great nephew and caregiver, Joseph Moseley of Fall River. He was the brother of the late Veronica Ellison.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 12:00 NOON in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter Street, Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be held prior to his service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 NOON. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River.
