Ana, the eldest daughter of Antonio and Elba Medina, was born in New York City on August 17, 1956. She graduated from Mater Christi High school in 1974, and afterwards attended Barbizon Modeling school to pursue a career in modeling.
For most of her career, Ana worked as an Executive Assistant supporting VPs at some of the highest levels of companies such as Capital One, where she worked for 20 years until her health declined.
Ana’s joy could be found in cooking, hosting parties, and celebrating birthdays and special occasions with family and friends. Ana loved to travel with her family, especially to tropical locations and the beach.
Ana is survived by her husband of 42 years Eduardo Urrutia, her daughter Daniella Urrutia, son Eddie Urrutia, his wife Johanna, granddaughter Olivia, and Ana’s sisters Nancy Medina Camiscoli and Milagros Medina Cerdeira, and their families.
