Angelo Henry Soares Jr.

Angelo H. Soares Jr. most recently of Frederick, MD has passed away peacefully, surrounded by his Children Friday 8/26/16 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He lived a long full life and left this world at the age of 82.

Originally from Warren, RI, he moved south to the tri-state area to find work. It was then that he met his beloved wife Dorothy and began to build their life together. He was a skilled Tradesman, a master in the old art of Plaster and through hard work and dedication rose to the position of General Superintendent of one of the largest Plaster companies on the east coast. He was fair yet firm; that was how he lived, that’s how he raised his Children and he was well respected by all who had the honor of knowing him. A loving Husband, Father and Grandfather, he was always there to help anyone who needed it. Often extending help to neighborhood kids and making them part of the Family. He loved to laugh and was very quick witted, always able to raise the mood with a story or a joke and had a mischievous grin that let one know he might be up to something. He will be sorely missed.

He is survived by his three children: Jacqueline Marie Scire of Frederick, MD, Angelo H. Soares III of Centreville, VA and John Patrick Soares of Fredericksburg, VA. His Grand Children: Angelo H. Soares IV, Mark Scire II,Allison Scire, Joseph Soares and Jordan Soares. He had one Great Grandchild, Bailey Soares.
