Barbara Mayhew Judy

She went on to attend the West Virginia Business School in Fairmont, WV, after which she married Willie M. Judy in Renick on June 24, 1955.

Bobbie started her married life working while Willie entered the Air Force.

They had their first child and shortly after moved to Biloxi, MS where their second child was eventually born.

The family moved to numerous locations over the next few years until they finally ended up in Arlington, VA where the third child was born.

A few years later she began her long career with the Arlington County Public School system.

Bobbie and her husband bought their home in Vienna, VA in 1978 where she eventually retired from the Arlington Public School system in 1996.

She unfortunately did not get to spend her retirement as she would have wished due to caring for her husband Willie who finally passed in 2004 due to long term illness.

She continued to help and care for her mother Ruby until she passed in 2008.

Her hobbies included ceramics, drawing, painting and writing as well as gardening.

Bobbie is survived by her siblings John W. Mayhew, Bessie M. Brannon and Samuel L. Mayhew, her loving children William L. Judy of Newport News, VA, Deborah D. Burke and her husband Joseph of Magnolia, TX and Matthew D. Judy of Vienna, VA as well as several beloved grandchildren and many beloved great-grandchildren.

Her life will be celebrated within her family and friends for years to come.
